About Smoking Pearls
Growing up, my favorite moments were spent listening to my grandmother and mother share stories about the women who came before us. Whether it was how they healed wounds with old-time remedies or passed down herbal knowledge, their wisdom laid the foundation for the business I have today.
Smoking Pearls is my tribute to them.
The "pearls" represent one of my grandmothers, always elegant, always poised. No matter the day, she never went without her pearls. The "smoking" speaks to my Southern roots and my other grandmother—tough, bold, and unbothered, standing in her brawl and shorts, hanging laundry with a cigarette tucked between her lips.
These women shaped who I am. Without their strength, stories, and spirit, I wouldn’t be here. I’m forever thankful for the family God blessed me with.
